If you rent equipment on this website, we will set up a cookie that is used to reference the items you have added to your cart, and related information about your rental. The cart cookies will persist for a week, or until you complete your rental payment, whichever comes first. If you delete the cookie before you complete your rental payment/purchase, you will no longer see any in your cart any data related to a rental you had begun to set up.

Who we share your data with

Data about any equipment rentals, including your name, email, phone number, and items you rented will be included in transactional emails to you to confirm your rental and to us to notify us of your rental.

How long we retain your data

If you rent equipment, information about you that you entered (email address, phone number, the details of your rental) will be stored indefinitely for our business records. Pro Sound and Video employees and website administrators will be able to see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you related to equipment rentals, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Stripe

We use a third party service called Stripe to process credit card payments related to equipment rentals. We do not store any of your credit card information in our own system, but your name and payment information is passed along to Stripe so they can process payment.
